WHAT WE ARE UP TO AS A NATION
The confidence of Gambians is getting lower by the day as the occupier of the State House is far from meeting the aspirations of Gambians.
In a crisis we expect leaders to make far-reaching decisions to wire down the danger of their people.
Since the advent of this Corona Virus a choice was in our hands to choose from and the Barrow-led government has surely failed to take the best decision to salvage the country from the deadly pandemic.
The copy-and-paste system can no longer be accepted , as the political reality of our country cannot be matched with anyone. We have a situation at hand that requires the urgent attention of the president to take unique decisions to safeguard the country's interest.
Mr. President, your subjects are far from realizing the struggle for the change and with your national address it has put many families in jeopardy as you are well aware that the majority of your people live from hand to mouth.
I wouldn't ask for your personal contribution but the approved 500, 000,000 the Gambian citizens have their equal share and we know the differences it can make in our lives during these turbulent times.
We demand the full transparency of this huge sum of money because as breadwinners are forced to stay at home and it will only be right to provide a substitute to ensure their families continue to live decent lives.
The country is being raped financially since you took office in 2017 and it was very necessary to ask for it and we did but you still give us a deaf ear to it. This one is not only about the money but saving the lives of desperate Gambians who are feeling the pangs of hunger.
With your continuous bad decisions it will only bring the country to its knees. Our forefathers’ decision to fight for our independence was to liberate us from the colonialists but those stiff steps taken by them have been insulted since you came into office.
Mr. President, leaders are measured based on their decisions and over the past three years we have seen your weakness and misguided actions and with regret
I wish to inform you that changing you is imperative in the best interest of the nation.
Ebrima Nyang
Assistant Administrative Secretary GDC.
