SWI-GAM Ltd boost GFRS with borehole

 




SWI-GAM Limited has recently donated a borehole with capacity to refill a fire engine within 8 to 10 minutes, concrete spreader machine and other mechanical tools to The Gambia Fire and Rescue Services (GFRS).

The manager of SWI-GAM Limited Mr. Ebrima Cole thanked the fire and rescue staff for the sacrifice in preventing and responding to fire incidents. He promised to do more in areas of capacity building training for the staff of.

Last month Mr. Cole donated a fire truck to the GFRS through Interior Ministry.

The Deputy Chief Fire Officer of GFRS Alhagie Lamin Sanyang who deputized for the chief fire officer, thanked Mr. Cole for the donated items and assured him that the donated materials will be put into best use.

Mr. Sanyang further expressed his desire for continue collaboration with SWI- Gam Limited for a better working relationship. 

In his keynote address Mr. Abubacarr Gibba the senior assistant secretary at the Ministry of the Interior, also thanked Mr. Cole for the benevolent support they rendered to GFRS.

Mr Gibba expressed the ministry’s relentless efforts to provide safety and security for the country at all times.

He further thanked President Adama Barrow for his support in creating enabling environment for peace and security for all.
