Commuters express dissatisfaction on transportation
By Pa Modou Cham As many within the Greater Banjul Area (GBA) do travel each day to work, some of the commuters yesterday raised concerns on transportation issues, saying they are not satisfy with drivers’ behaviour toward them. Speaking to the commuters, Baba Jobe expressed disappointment for seeing some of the drivers behaving anyhow they feel like during busy hours of 4pm to 8pm on the roads. ¨Sometimes, it took us triple fares before reaching to our place. Some of the drivers do tell us when coming from Westfield going to Brikama that they can only stop at Tallinding or Latrikunda. After Latrikunda they will decide to take Toboko and then to Brikama which i believe is undone when we believe that we are responsible citizens.¨ He added that the government should intervene and tell the drivers to stop such bad practices.
